Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce and Anchovies

Ingredients

  • 500 grams spaghetti
  • 1 jar of LA FRUBENSE dried tomatoes in olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • Anchovies
  • Basil
  • Salt
  • Black olives
   

Preparation

Cook the spaghetti for 15 minutes in boiling water; add salt to taste.
To prepare the sauce place the jar contents in a bowl and mix with some fresh basil.
Crush the mixture and add to the cooked spaghetti.
If preferred you can warm up the tomatoes in olive oil before crushing them.
You could also add some anchovies or garlic cloves to the mixture before crushing.
Decorate the plate with sliced black olives.
The rest of the sauce could be used to spread on toast with some slices of ham on top.
