Tomato Sauce

  • Type of dish: Sauce.

  • Serves: 3-4.

  • Preparation time: 15 minutes.

  • Difficulty: Easy.

  • 1 tray LA FRUBENSE dried tomatoes

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 70 grams pitted black olives

  • 15 grams salted capers

  • ¼ spicy pepperoni

  • Pinch of Oregano

  • Salt

  • 50 cc. olive oil


Re-hydrate the tomatoes for an hour in warm water mix with 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Drain and crush with the garlic, pepperoni, olives, capers, oregano, salt and olive oil. If the dried tomatoes have been preserved in oil used directly.
